14 Years of Grit, Guts and Great Design

In a world where most things change in 14 seconds, staying relevant, real and relentlessly creative for 14 years is no small feat. But here we are, with SenseBite being a teenager. And like all good teens, we’ve learned from our missteps, built a personality and still have a whole lot of growing up to do (in the best way possible).

This isn't just an anniversary post. It's a rewind, a reflection and a peek into what keeps the engine running - from chai breaks to creative pivots.

From Local Rides to Big Leaps

Back in 2011, creative jobs in the suburbs weren’t a thing. Our founder, Sayali, was riding from Chinchwad to Pune every single day - until someone casually asked, “Why not find something closer?”

Spoiler: “Closer” turned out to be starting her own agency.

Freelance gigs rolled in. Logos, brochures, client calls from dining tables. But the tipping point? Atlas Copco. That one project changed everything. Suddenly, the dream felt tangible. The freelancer became a founder. The laptop became an office. And SenseBite was born - not just out of ambition, but out of necessity, belief and a whole lot of bold questions.

The Checkpoints, the Chaos, the Culture

We’ve been through phases. From working with solopreneurs to servicing global B2B giants. From 12 a.m. pitch decks to hiring our first designer. From designing logos to designing strategies.

We’ve rebranded (ourselves and others), outgrown offices and onboarded team members who felt like family. Some stayed for years. Some moved on to their next chapter. But everyone left a mark.

Through it all, what kept us going wasn’t just the work. It was our culture of curiosity, where asking “silly” questions was never a weakness - it was how we found the smartest answers.

“I’ve asked every GM, MD and comms manager the most basic questions. And they always answered with patience. That trust? I will never forget it.” — Sayali

Branding Then vs. Now

Back in 2011, branding meant your logo, brochure and maybe a website with stock photos. Fast forward to today? It's strategy, story, soul and speed.

From PDFs to pitch decks. From print to platforms. SenseBite has evolved with every wave — and in many ways, helped shape it. We’ve embraced digital-first thinking, hybrid messaging, human-centered design and yes, we’ve made friends with AI (but we still trust our gut more).

“AI can write your copy. But it can’t know your instinct. Your taste. That’s still human.” — Sayali

What Keeps Us Ticking?

It’s not just the projects. It’s the people.

From corporate comms heads who gave us our first shot, to interns who asked tough questions, to teammates who stayed through crunch seasons - you’re all part of the story.

We’re a bunch of chai-fueled creators who believe ideas are meant to be shared, not hoarded. We laugh loud, think deep and occasionally panic (creatively, of course). And no matter how much we grow, we always keep it real.

What’s Next?

The goal isn’t to become the biggest agency. It’s to become the most intentional one. In year 15, we’re introducing Project Udaan - a structure-first, purpose-led internal framework that helps our team align better, work smarter and grow together.

“My vision now? To build a legacy business. One that lasts. One that leads.” — Sayali

We’re not here to chase trends. We’re here to design trust. And build a brand that makes people feel something.

Final Sip (Yes, We’re Team Chai)

14 years in and we’re still learning. Still laughing. Still building. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here’s to the next chapter. New ideas, new people, new mistakes - all brewed strong, just like our chai.
